Adrianne, I tried to call you but you didn't pick up. So had to post.

Well, here we are in 2009. Seeing that I never expected to live long enough to see this year when I was younger, I should be feeling gladness. But at this point I'm having January blues and I would go for the Millenium, quite frankly, by way of a change. I'm sitting here feeling sorry for myself because my house is a mess and my husband is at work and where the heck is the maid service already? I guess I'll have to get up and do my own dirty work. Laziness....another thing I was supposed to grow out of by 2009.
But Happy New Year to you & yours. May it bring you many good things. May your house price and your spirits rise this year. And may I clean my house before my poor beleagured husband gets home.

Thank you my dear. You're always faithful to post on my blog no matter how inane my posting is, and it's so encouraging to see it.

Well its not exactly maid service but it is the most utterly absurd and ridiculous 80's Queen video ever made. Hope this gives you a laugh and cheers up your week.

Cassaline: Thank you for sharing! I watched the vid. just now, liberally interspersing "WTF???WTF??" and laughing aloud. I hope whoever made that travesty wasn't taking their "artistic vision" seriously. Ha. Good old 80s. I LOVED karaoke, let's all do it again. Good to see you here. Post on your own blog. Cassaline...is that a reference from that series of books about Phedre or something that Adrianne loves?
Sunny: Good to hear you/see you, my dear. We must speak again.

Glad you liked the Vid. It's a real 80's gem isn't it? From what once read it was Queens tribute to their mothers off all things.

I agree, Karaoke was a blast! We definitely need to do it again at some point.

and as for the handle, you guessed it correctly. I blame your sister for getting me hooked on those books. :)
